Apply now for a mini grant to help make MIT a game-changing force for campus sustainability this April!

We are pleased to announce funding for the MIT community (staff, students, faculty) to develop innovative & interactive campus projects promoting sustainability this April surrounding Earth Day 2015 (April 22, 2015).

These small grants seek to encourage student, staff, and faculty teams to develop creative projects on campus that harness their scientific, social, artistic, and technological problem-solving skills. Projects will promote climate action, resource-efficiency, sustainable behavior and more. Ideas might include: workshops, speaker events, interactive projects, installations, experiments, etc.

To apply for project funding (up to $500 per team), please follow the instructions at this website. Applications are due by midnight on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Projects that are awarded funding will be promoted as part of the campus-wide series of “Earth Days” events, organized by the GSC Sustainability Committee.
