The Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition, which MIT joined in May 2016, has issued a call for papers for a research conference scheduled to take place in January 2019.

The coalition is a a global partnership of governments, businesses, and civil society organizations working together with the goal of applying a price on carbon emissions in order to address climate change.

In its call for papers, the coalition notes that it "will draw on outcomes of this conference to help bridge the existing gap between theory and practice, and to inform future decisions taken by policy makers and corporate leaders."

The call for papers also notes that responses may "originate from any discipline, including – but not limited to – economics, political science, international relations, and law, or be interdisciplinary in approach."

The deadline for abstracts is April 15, 2018. MIT researchers who are interested to learn more can visit this page.
